I don’t care if you have never even written a blog, or if you have built literally hundreds of websites from scratch, there is always something you can do to improve the site you are working on. For me, I would always use WordPress for whatever I am doing because it is a great platform with a great back end. It is so usable, and if you change content frequently you are going to want a program that allows you to do that easily.

Following this, you need to make sure that you have good reliable online backup for your site. I recently signed up with a great company who really know what they are doing. Heaven forbid that anything goes wrong, but if it does, their recovery service is second to none. They also offer a fantastic free online backup plugin designed specifically for WordPress. WordPress do have one of their own, but it is vastly inferior to this product. It is very quick and simple to download, and all you need to do to get it is to register with the company. They will provide you with 50 MiB of space, and of course if you pay for one of their other services then you will have peace of mind that you can call on a group of real professionals if you ever have any real problems. Be careful out there, and make sure you protect your valuable work.
