Understanding IP Class

IP-AddressAt the early stage of internet development, those scheme become something bigger than needed. The IP creator realized that some networks only have thousands hosts. For example if one network with 1000 computers connected to internet and entered to one of that network ID, due to the capacity of the network available is only 1000 from the  65.536 host address available, that means there will be more than 64.000 IP address would be wasted (isn’t too dear? ).

Therefore the concept of this IP address classes was made in order to overcome that problem. IP protocol, for example, it could separate 5 different address classes : A, B,C,D and E where each class from the first three class ( A to C ) would have different size to determine the ID network portion and the ID host.
